Yvon's Artisan Patissier offers freshly baked breads, cakes and dessert treats, as well as a new range of exciting savoury snacks and sandwiches accompanied by hot or cold drinks.
Patrons are invited to enjoy the ambience of the patisserie store by eating in or, for those needing more flexibility, a take-away service is available.
For those special occasions, orders can be placed in advance.
Yvon Coignard first trained as a pastry chef in Normandy, France but came to England in 1985 and since then has worked in an amazing range of hotels and restaurants including Maison Blanc, Le Meridien, Piccadilly, The Hilton, Park Lane, The Four Seasons Hotel, Park Lane and The Landmark Hotel. As well as stays in Egypt, winning the coveted Egon Ronay "Desert of the Year" and gold at Hotel Olympia, he has a fine resume. He has been an active committee member in the Association Culinaire Francaise and was awarded the Chevalier de l'ordre du Merite Agricole (CMA) by the French Government in 2009, which was presented to him by the Ambassador in London.
Since 2005, Yvon has been running a very successful wholesale patisserie business, The Gourmet Patisserie, supplying hotels, airlines, retail and conferences.
